Frequently Asked Questions
Arizona RV Moving & Disposal

Moving an RV or disposing of an old trailer involves a lot of moving parts—literally. We’ve compiled the most common questions from our Arizona clients to help you plan your next transport or removal project with confidence. Whether you’re curious about our licensing, pricing, or the specifics of desert hauling, you’ll find the answers here.

RV & Boat Moving & Transport

How do you calculate the cost of nationwide transport?

Our long-distance rates are based on total mileage, the size/weight of your RV, and current fuel market conditions. Unlike brokers who add hidden fees, we provide a transparent, flat-rate quote that includes all permits and insurance for the trip.

What states do you serve for long-haul moves?

We provide professional door-to-door delivery across all 48 continental United States. Whether you are moving from Arizona to the East Coast or anywhere in between, we have you covered.

Is my RV insured while traveling state-to-state?

Yes. For Nationwide RV Transport, we carry specialized commercial cargo insurance that exceeds standard local towing policies. Your investment is protected from the moment we hook up until the final delivery.

Can you move an RV I just bought from an out-of-state dealer?

Absolutely. We specialize in "Dealer-to-Door" delivery. We coordinate directly with the dealership to handle the paperwork and pickup, ensuring your new purchase arrives safely at your home or preferred RV park.

How long does a cross-country delivery usually take?

Timing depends on the total distance and weather conditions. Generally, moves under 1,000 miles take 2–3 days, while coast-to-coast hauls typically take 5–7 days. We provide regular status updates so you always know where your rig is located.

Do I need to do anything to prepare my RV for a long trip?

Yes. For long-distance hauling, it is vital to secure all interior items, lock all windows/doors, and ensure the tires and wheel bearings are in good condition. We perform a final safety check upon arrival to ensure everything is road-ready.

Can you pick up my RV if the dealership is out of state?

Yes! We specialize in long-distance moves and can coordinate pickups from dealerships or private sellers across the lower 48 states.

Do I need to be present for the pickup?

Not necessarily. As long as the paperwork is finalized and the seller (dealer or private party) is authorized to release the vehicle to us, we can handle the rest.

What if the RV I bought from a private party has old tires?

Safety is our priority. We perform a pre-trip check on every delivery. If tires or bearings appear unsafe, we will contact you to discuss options (such as tire replacement or flatbed hauling) before we hit the highway.

How do I get a quote for a dealer delivery?

Simply provide us with the year, make, and model of the RV, along with the pickup and delivery zip codes. We provide transparent, flat-rate quotes with no hidden fees.

Can you move equipment on the weekends?

We know construction doesn't always stop on Friday. We can definitely schedule weekend hauls if you book it in advance so we can clear our schedule.

Do I need to provide the chains and binders?

Nope, we handle all of that. We carry all the necessary Grade-70 chains and straps to make sure your load is legal and secure according to DOT standards.

Do you offer "Hot Shot" or same-day equipment delivery?

We know that "equipment down" means money lost. While we recommend booking a few days out, we often have gaps in our schedule for emergency "Hot Shot" hauls across the Phoenix Valley. If you’ve got a crew standing around waiting for a machine, give Mitch a call and we’ll do our best to get to you as fast as humanly possible.

Are your prices fixed or estimated?

We provide clear, flat-rate quotes based on the distance and the size of the vessel. You won't have to worry about hidden "fuel surcharges" or surprise fees at the time of delivery.

What types of boats can you transport?

We specialize in hauling a wide variety of vessels, including pontoons, tri-toons, center consoles, wake boats, and cuddy cabins. If it's on a trailer, we can haul it.

Can you pick up a boat from a dealership I just purchased from?

Absolutely. We frequently work with local Arizona dealerships for "Last-Mile Delivery." We coordinate the pickup, perform a safety check on the new trailer, and deliver it directly to your home or slip.

Do you offer "Dry Launch" or "Wet Launch" services?

We primarily provide "Dry" transport (trailer to trailer). However, we can assist with backing your trailer into the water for a launch at most Arizona marinas, provided the ramp is accessible for our heavy-duty trucks.

Is there a limit to how far you can haul my boat?

No. While we do a lot of local work at Lake Pleasant and Havasu, we are equipped for Nationwide Boat Transport. We can safely move your vessel from Arizona to the East Coast or anywhere in between.

How much notice do you need to schedule a haul?

For local Arizona moves, we can often schedule you within 24–48 hours. For nationwide or long-distance hauling, we recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance to secure your dates.

What happens if my boat trailer has a flat tire or mechanical issue during transit?

Because we are experienced haulers, we carry tools to handle basic roadside issues like tire changes. However, we strongly recommend that tires and bearings are serviced before a long-haul trip to ensure safety.

Do you have the proper licensing to haul large boats?

Yes. We are DOT Certified and CDL Licensed. This is critical because many boat/trailer combinations exceed the weight limits of a standard driver's license. We stay fully compliant with all state and federal hauling regulations.

Do you provide ramps for loading?

Yeah, our trailers are equipped with heavy-duty ramps designed for tracked and wheeled machinery. As long as the equipment is operable, we can get it up and down no problem.

What’s the heaviest piece of equipment you can move?

Most of our work is in the "medium-duty" range. We commonly haul skid steers, tractors, forklifts, and small excavators. If you've got something specific, just give us the weight and dimensions and we'll let you know if we're the right fit for the job.

Are you able to move non-operable machinery?

It depends. If the equipment can be winched onto our flatbed, we can usually handle it. If it’s a "dead" machine that requires a crane to load, we’ll need to coordinate that with you ahead of time.

What happens if the job site is a "tight fit" or has rough terrain?

We’re used to it. Construction sites and rural Arizona properties aren't exactly paved parking lots. We have high-clearance trucks and the experience to back into tight areas where a full-sized semi wouldn't stand a chance. If you're worried about the space, just send us a photo of the drop-off point ahead of time and we’ll plan the approach.

Do I need to be there to help with the loading?

Ideally, yes—or at least someone who knows how to operate the machinery. We handle the securing and the hauling, but we need someone on-site to drive the equipment onto our ramps. If the machine is dead and needs to be winched or picked up with a crane, just let us know during the quote so we can bring the right gear for the job.

Junk RV Removal & Disposal

What is the maximum weight you can haul on your flatbeds?

It depends on the specific trailer we use for your job, but we typically handle loads up to 10,000–12,000 lbs. Give us a call with your specs and we'll let you know if we're the right fit.

Can you deliver to residential construction sites?

Yes. We are experts at maneuvering into tight residential areas where big semi-trucks can't go.

What information do I need to provide for a quote?

To give you an accurate flat-rate quote, we just need the pickup/delivery zip codes, the approximate weight, and the dimensions (length, width, and height). Knowing if the load is on pallets or needs to be chained down helps too!

Are you available for same-day material hauling?

We often have same-day or next-day availability for local Phoenix hauls. Because we are owner-operated, we can usually respond much faster than big logistics companies. Just call or text Mitch to check the current schedule.

Do you handle the loading and unloading?

Generally, we require a forklift or crane on-site for loading and unloading. However, our drivers are experts at "spotting" the trailer and working with your crew to ensure the materials are placed exactly where they need to be.

What happens to the RV after you take it?

We follow strict Junk RV Removal & Disposal protocols. The vehicle is taken to a licensed salvage or recycling facility where it is dismantled and disposed of properly.

Do you remove motorhomes as well as trailers?

Yes. We handle travel trailers, fifth wheels, campers, and motorized RVs (Class A, B, and C), regardless of their mechanical condition.

Does the RV need to be empty before you pick it up?

We ask that you remove all personal belongings, trash, and hazardous materials (like loose propane tanks or chemicals) before we arrive. While we handle the disposal of the RV structure itself, clearing out the interior helps us ensure a faster, safer removal and keeps your disposal costs as low as possible.

What if my RV is too damaged for the donation program?

If the rig isn't accepted by a charity, we don't leave you stranded. We can instantly switch you to our Junk RV Removal & Disposal service to ensure it is recycled properly.

Do you help with the donation paperwork?

We provide the transport documentation and proof of delivery. The official tax-deductible receipt will be issued to you directly by the organization receiving the donation.

Can you pick up from an RV park or storage facility?

Yes. We coordinate with park managers and storage facilities daily. We handle the logistics of getting the unit out of its current space and through the gates safely.

Do you provide the trailers, or do you tow mine?

We can do both! We have our own professional flatbed trailers for your materials, or if you have a loaded trailer that needs a "power-only" tow, we can hook up and move it for you.

Do you provide tarps for weather-sensitive materials?

Yes. If you are moving lumber, drywall, or equipment that needs to stay dry, let us know. We carry heavy-duty tarps and edge protectors to keep your cargo shielded from rain, dust, and Arizona’s intense sun.

Can you deliver to job sites with limited access?

Definitely. Unlike large semi-trucks, our medium-duty flatbed setups are much easier to maneuver into residential construction sites, narrow alleys, or crowded commercial yards where space is tight.

How do you ensure my materials won't shift during transit?

We follow strict DOT securement standards. Depending on your load, we use a combination of 2-inch or 4-inch nylon straps, grade-70 transport chains, and "V-board" edge protectors to prevent any crushing or movement.

Do I need a title to have an RV removed?

While having a title is ideal, we can often work with you if the title is missing, provided you have proof of ownership or the vehicle has been abandoned on your property. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Can you remove an RV that has flat tires or is sinking into the dirt?

Yes. This is our specialty. We use heavy-duty winches and recovery equipment to extract RVs that are no longer road-worthy.

Can you remove an RV that has been abandoned on my rental property or land?

Yes. Abandoned vehicles are a common issue for landlords and property owners. While the process varies slightly depending on local Arizona ordinances, we can help you navigate the removal. As long as you have followed the legal "notice to vacate" or "abandoned property" steps required by your city, we can provide the professional extraction and disposal to clear your land.

Will the charity pay for the removal, or do I?

Typically, the donor handles the cost of the professional removal to ensure the charity receives the vehicle without an overhead burden. We provide a flat-rate quote for this service.

Can you move a donated RV without a key?

Yes. We have the professional equipment to move motorhomes or trailers even if keys are missing or the steering is locked.

Is my property protected during the removal?

Absolutely. As a DOT-certified company with a 15-year legacy, we carry full liability and cargo insurance to protect your driveway and landscaping during the extraction.
