Tough Loads. Proven Expertise. Zero Excuses.

Professional Heavy Equipment & Machinery Transport in Arizona

Let’s be honest—moving heavy machinery isn't just about having a big truck; it’s about knowing how to secure a load so it doesn’t shift an inch on those steep Arizona grades. Since we started back in 2010 as Mitchell & Sons, we’ve seen too many folks try to move gear with the wrong setup and end up with a total mess. At RV Removers, we specialize in those "in-between" loads—like a contractor's Bobcat or a shop owner’s new CNC machine—that are too big for a standard pickup but don't need a massive semi. We’re CDL licensed, we know the local routes, and we actually show up on time so your gear arrives safe and ready to get to work.

Heavy Equipment & Machinery Transport: What Our Service Includes

Moving heavy machinery is about more than just a big truck; it’s about the physics of a safe haul. We specialize in "in-between" loads—like Bobcats, forklifts, and CNC machines—that need more than a pickup but don’t require a full semi. By managing weight distribution and securing every load with Grade-70 chains, we ensure your equipment arrives at the job site or warehouse safe and ready to work. Whether you're a contractor or a shop owner, we provide a secure, professional transport experience that eliminates the stress of moving high-value gear across Arizona.

What’s Included in Our Hauling Service

  • Proper Load Rating: We use heavy-duty flatbeds and trailers specifically rated for high-tonnage machinery.
  • Professional Grade Tie-Downs: We don’t use cheap hardware store straps. We use grade-70 transport chains and heavy-duty binders to lock your gear down.
  • Loading & Unloading Support: We don’t just pull up and wait. We help ensure the equipment is positioned correctly on the deck for perfect weight distribution.
  • Job-Site Delivery: We’re used to navigating tight construction sites, farms, and industrial parks where space is at a premium.
  • Fully Insured Cargo: Your equipment is high-value, so we carry full commercial cargo insurance that actually covers the replacement cost of your machinery.

Our Heavy Hauling Process: From Loading to Offload

1

Logistics & Weight Verification

We start by getting the exact dimensions and weight of your machinery. This helps us ensure we bring the right trailer and enough Grade-70 chains to stay fully DOT compliant and safe on the road.

2

Professional Loading & Binding

We don't just "strap it down." We help guide the equipment onto our ramps for perfect weight distribution over the axles. Once positioned, we use heavy-duty binders and chains to lock the equipment to the trailer frame so it won't shift an inch.

3

Secure Transit

During the haul, we don't just drive. We perform periodic "tug tests" and inspections at stop intervals to make sure the tension on the chains hasn't loosened due to road vibration or Arizona’s heat.

4

Precision Placement

When we arrive at your job site or shop, we don't just "drop and go." We work with you to back the trailer into the best possible position for a safe offload, ensuring your gear is exactly where your crew needs it to start working.

  • The 15-Year Track Record: We’ve been hauling across the desert since 2010. We know which roads to avoid and how to handle the heat.
  • No Middlemen: When you call for a quote, you're talking to the guy who owns the company. We don't farm your job out to some random driver.
  • DOT & CDL Compliant: We take the legal side seriously. Our trucks and drivers meet all Arizona and Federal requirements, so you don't have to worry about your load getting red-tagged.
  • Fair, No-Nonsense Pricing: We give you a price and we stick to it. No "fuel surcharges" or hidden fees added at the end of the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the heaviest piece of equipment you can move?

Most of our work is in the "medium-duty" range. We commonly haul skid steers, tractors, forklifts, and small excavators. If you've got something specific, just give us the weight and dimensions and we'll let you know if we're the right fit for the job.

Do you provide ramps for loading?

Yeah, our trailers are equipped with heavy-duty ramps designed for tracked and wheeled machinery. As long as the equipment is operable, we can get it up and down no problem.

Are you able to move non-operable machinery?

It depends. If the equipment can be winched onto our flatbed, we can usually handle it. If it’s a "dead" machine that requires a crane to load, we’ll need to coordinate that with you ahead of time.

Can you move equipment on the weekends?

We know construction doesn't always stop on Friday. We can definitely schedule weekend hauls if you book it in advance so we can clear our schedule.

Do I need to provide the chains and binders?

Nope, we handle all of that. We carry all the necessary Grade-70 chains and straps to make sure your load is legal and secure according to DOT standards.

What happens if the job site is a "tight fit" or has rough terrain?

We’re used to it. Construction sites and rural Arizona properties aren't exactly paved parking lots. We have high-clearance trucks and the experience to back into tight areas where a full-sized semi wouldn't stand a chance. If you're worried about the space, just send us a photo of the drop-off point ahead of time and we’ll plan the approach.

Do you offer "Hot Shot" or same-day equipment delivery?

We know that "equipment down" means money lost. While we recommend booking a few days out, we often have gaps in our schedule for emergency "Hot Shot" hauls across the Phoenix Valley. If you’ve got a crew standing around waiting for a machine, give Mitch a call and we’ll do our best to get to you as fast as humanly possible.

Do I need to be there to help with the loading?

Ideally, yes—or at least someone who knows how to operate the machinery. We handle the securing and the hauling, but we need someone on-site to drive the equipment onto our ramps. If the machine is dead and needs to be winched or picked up with a crane, just let us know during the quote so we can bring the right gear for the job.
